Alice Cho is a senior advisor at Boston Consulting Group and serves on the boards of public companies, including Globe Life and First Interstate BancSystem. Previously, Alice served as Company Advisor to Varo, the nation’s first digital fintech bank with over 2 million accounts and a mission to improve the financial health of consumers. Prior, Alice was a Managing Director at Promontory Financial Group and the head of its West Coast Practice. Earlier in her career, Alice served as Special Assistant to Vice Chair Alice M. Rivlin at the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, D.C. She began her career working on the President’s banking policy initiatives at the U.S. Office of Management and Budget.
Alice earned a B.A. in Economics from Whitman College and an A.M in Public Policy from the University of Chicago. She has published articles at the Brookings Institution and in American Banker and Western Independent Bankers. Alice is a founding member of Extraordinary Women on Boards and a member of the Council of Korean-Americans.
Marina Gracias is General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Varo, the nation’s first digital fintech bank with a mission to help people improve their financial lives. Before joining Varo, Marina was Managing Director at Accenture, where she was responsible for deal structuring and negotiations in financial services. Prior, she was the Chief Procurement Officer for Visa and served as Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel for Providian Financial.
Marina received her J.D. from University of California, Berkeley and her M.B.A. and B.S. from the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley. A longtime Bay Area resident, she serves on the boards of UC Berkeley Executive Education and Junior Achievement of Northern California.
